Wow don't you love it when you get inspired and youe mind is buzzing with ideas and you just have the urge to create!!!  I'm nearly always in a creative mood but I love that feeling when you try something new and it's workin' for ya.

The other night I accidently clicked on a youtube video and now I am so glad because it opened the doors to my new obsession :)  The artist is Linda from Livartnow on youtube and she had created this awesome piece of Mixed Media art using alsorts of embellishments,  wooden and metal elemants, lace, charms and the most amazing art tiles she had made by using scrabble pieces, collage. stamps and then flooding the little tiles with glossy accents to give them dimension and a gloss finish.  The mosiac she created was amazing and I couldn't wait to get started on my own one but hmmmmmm first I had to make like a BAH-JILLION art tiles.

So I got busy and made heaps I have now run out of the glossy accents I've been forced to have a break but I luuurrrvvee making them and they are like lil treasures.  Right up my alley being collage and then even better you don't have to comit yourself to much because they are small.  So fun, so easy such a great lil project and these tiles are perfect for embellishing so many of your projects, fridge magnets, cards.

If you think this is something you might wanna try then do it right away so much fun!!!  I'm thinking grungy tiles using tim holtz images,  vintage tiles with beautiful intage ehemera, shabby chic style by lightening up the images and distressing the edges with white and gold instead of the black.  I even have some art in mind where I will be painting some cultural images on the tiles and making some Polynesian inspired  canvases.  Heres some pics and I'm pretty sure there will be more as the creative juices continue to flow :)

Long Time No Blog!!!!!

Wow can't believe it was May since I last Blogged!!  How slack :( TBH with the face booking and answering emails and trying to sell my art, make music, care for my family well...blogging took a bit of a back seat but here I am....and what have I been up too??

Heaps I've managed to do quite alot of crafting, painting and been making some music (but thats a whole other blog)  The making of the crafts and the painting of the art is the easy bit I love it!!!!  I wish I could create art all day every day the hard bit for me is selling it so that is my focus at the moment trying to get some of my creations sold so I can buy more supplies for art!!!

So I'm just gonna share some pics of what I've been up to and a couple of vids make sure to come join me over at : https://www.facebook.com/WithAllMyArtSoul  it's where I mostly hang out and you can check out more of my artsy carry ons and say hello or have a wee chat :)

I've also had a busy couple of weeks creating things to sell at some of our local markets. It's a bit daunting spending time and products making things and not knowing what will sell and what wont but I suppose I'll never know if I don't try :)

I'm not a card maker the only way I know how is from looking at some of the awsome crafters on youtube but I must say it gaets a bit addictive. I'm trying to do low end ones and sell the 3 for $5 and the fancier ones but I have no idea how much to charge...it's a bit of a bother!!!

I've also done some mini mixed media canvases. They have turned out great and I loved making them definatly my style and they have got insopirational words on the which I love.

Please let me know of any other good, quick, inexpensive ideas you have to help me out on my lil weekend adventure :)

These are some of the bigger Cards I've made measuring 15cmx 15cm. As you can see I've embellished the insides aswell these were so much fun.  I've made smaller simpler ones aswell that I will sell 3 for $5.

These are a few of the mini canvases that I created so much fun as I love mixed media and this grungy look :)
Kia Ora :)

Yesturday I uploaded my second Design Team video for LSH.  It's a Magnetic Memo Board.  I used an old canvas and painted it black, covered some sheet metal with design paper and adhered it to the canvas. I then covered the train template with patterened paper from the MME Paper stack And also used some paper from the DCWV Tattered time Mat sstack.  When I had done that I Popped it up with some card and attatched it to the board.

I embellished the edges with cut outs from the tim Holtz Paper Stack and other odd embellishments from my stash.  I made the magnets by adhering bits of design paper to card and then hot gluing some magnetic tape to the back:)

This project was so super easy and fairly quick I'm pretty sure you could find  metal sheeting suitable for this at your Hardware store.

This would be a great gift so simple to change the theme to suit any taste.  Lokking forward to creating a shabby chic styled one so I can go crazy on the gorgeous embellishing :)

See you soon with some more crafty creations :)

INTRODUCTION TO OUR CREATIVE JOURNEY SERIES

Another cool thing that I have kicked off this week  was thebeginning of my Creative Journey Series.  Going to be so much fun to get into this and I hope you guys can join in some of the fun and challenge yourself and eachother to really use our products and all the tecniques we have been learning from eachother :)

Sooooo....the guts of it is...is that I have set myself a $50 budget to buy product from a particular collection and with that we are going to create as many projects as we can.....WHY????....because it gonna be fun!!!!!!.....and also to really get some use out of the artsy goodness that we buy maybe try some new things use our tools and techniques and products in different ways not necessarily the way the instructions say to...and for me personally I just wanna see how many projects I can create using a set amount of product5s and incorperating them with stuff we already have in our  stash.

Our first part of the Journey I've chosen to use Bo Bunny Country Garden Collection..I thought it would be perfect to start this journey off with some color and vibrancy and this collection was perfect.
The color pallet was not my preference but really when it comes to scrappy goodness and art supplies it's all gorgeous to me :)

I'm hoping to get at least 5 projects out of the products I got, those will include a mini album, A mixed media canvas inspirewd by a Youtube artist, a mixed media canvas in the style of "ME" lol a couple of cards...maybe a layout, maybe an altered item and then if there are any scraps then a page for my KOS Journal or in my personal Journal....I mean who knows where we will be lead...but it's gonna be fun guys :)

Heres the video of my LSH Angels DT Projects.
Hey there wow it's been a wee while since I've blogged and I've been up to heaps of artsy crafty mischief so I don't know where to begin....so here goes <3

First of all my computer died and left me in a feerrr-eaky state of absolute panic!!!!  It was all a bit of a drama but thankfully that is just a bad memory and I am now blogging this on my superfast supercool new computer.....YAY!!!!!!....:)

I completed my first lot of Design team Projects for LSH...I had so much fun creating using cynthia's templates.  All of which you can purchase by going over to the LSH website. Make sure you are a member so you can be a part of the fun and sharing, get to know some other wonderful crafters and get inspired and inspire eachother...thats what it's all about aye?!!

Here I've created a Tissue box using the rocking horse template.  Constructed the box using the measurements from an actual tissue box.  I used some sturdy cardboard from a box that had a toaster in it.  Adhered it all together with hot glue and then covered it with this perfect design paper from the DCWV BABY BOY 12X12 Paper pack. If you are anything  like me and are addicted to using your glue-gun then this is perfect for you.  It was so fun to embellish using beautiful pearl trim, lace, and some prima flowers.

Using the same Template I also created this 12x12 Layout. Now I'm not the best at doing Layouts and to be honest I don't really like doing them but this was so easy. These templates really inspired me I have so many other ideas for projects using this one template, Mini albums, banners, picture frames I can wait.

This was my favourite project using another one of cynthia's templates.  I created a box with some thick card using the solid part of the template and then cut the gate template peice out of corregated card to create....welll...the gate!!
Using Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime it was a given that this project would take on the exact fairy secret garden look that I was going for.  I did some fussy cutting of some of the gorgeous images, some prima flowers, stickles, I used my rangeer paint daubers to get that rustic look accented it with some gold and really just had fun. I also created a lil note book and bound it with my new Bind-it-all....Yay!!!!!!!

Another amazing thing that happened was the design team angels all got gifted some LINDY'S!!!!!! I was so blown away to recieve the sprays and yes I got a bit emotional hehe it was the first time I had seen the sprays lil lone used them so obviously I couldn't help but give my fairy creation a generous spray.  The notebook I created was easy to I just used some leftover paper from the paper pack and colored up some music note paper with some Lindy's and also some manilla paper and stamped it with some journaling lines. it all came together perfectly. I also really loved how the shape of the frame on the notebook which was from the paper collection perfectly matched the shape of the templates....AWESOME!!!

So thats my first lot of dt projects and what a lot of fun I look forward to seeing more of the projects from the other angels to so be sure to check them out :)

Hey there
Easter weekend done and dusted and now my children have there 2 week school holidays :)  We went for a break to our hometown Taupo and brought back our niece and nephew for a few days.  I don't expect much blogging to be done over the next few days or anything done on my own projects but the lil ones are very much in to scrapping and creating with their aunty so we will be doing heaps of that.  My kids are big now so it's nice to get down and dirty with the glue and paste although thats really a normal day for me.

Today we made finger puppets out of felt and googly eyes and anything else we could find to glue on...so cute.

I was a bit late drawing the winner for my KOS MINI ALBUM GIVEAWAY, got that done today with the help of my lil buddies.

So congratulation to the winners and I hope that Linda enjoys filling this mini with some great memories as much as I enjoyed making it :)

I have got some great projects coming up in the near future including my website getting made with the help of a friend...got alot of ideas so many infact I find it hard to sleep some nights.  Also working on my music aswell which is always a joy for me and getting to do that with awesome muscians and artist is a real treat.

So thats all for now xo

Heya :) yet another creative week, halfway through and been pretty busy. Some great and exciting news first is that I am now an ANGEL for LSH :) which means I am one of four new Design team members and what is better still is I am designing for my all time favourite craft Cynthia ( YT -Cynthialoohoo)  So in the very near future I will be designing some projects from cindy's templates, that are all available from the LSH website :) I already have so many ideas going through my mind and looking forward to geting to know the other angels too.

This week I will be sending off some artwork, I've been painting these "om's".  My sister is a hardcore yogi and she wanted one, and then her friends wanted some an so over hte last couple of months I have painted and sold a few. None quite as big as this one though it stands a 1m tall and approx 70cm in width.  Done with acrylics, water soluble crayons, inks, stamps, heat embossed with utee and accented with gold perlex all painted over a collaged canvas.

I love painting these for other paople and have now painted quite a few. This was pretty big though and I think I prefer to do them on a smaller scale.

HERE'S THE VID TO MY "KOS SCRAP MINI"
and a GIVEAWAY!!!!!

be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel and leave a comment on there or on here and I will put you in the draw to win this mini. You can keep it for yourself or gift it to someone special...I'm all about giving <3 giveaway will be drawn on April 5th 2012.

Wow !!!!!!
Whatta a crafty weekend I had.  I was sooo lucky to be able to have heaps of crafty time this weekend.  The kids had their own things going on and my darling had work so it was just me my fav music and my creativity...total bliss.  Sunday I had my bestie and her 3 beautiful sons for lunch but after that it was straight back out to my lil den.  I have my band gear set up out there too so I often have a break and a wee jam session while I wait for paint to dry.....soo my kind of a good time :)

So what did I get up to????.....I got started on the "keep on scrappin" challenge hosted by the ultimate Bona.  You have to create a mini album out of scraps from one collection of your choice. There was no theme but you couldn't use any dies, or punches.  It was my first challenge and I must say I was pretty over eager lol <3

So I chose the Tim Holtz Lost and Found collection, it seem to be a never ending stack I've created several projects with it, and if I'm clever there is still enough to make some cards or tags, heaps of goodie bits left for my journals and mixed media pieces.  I used scrap card board, and old packaging for the pages even used scrap flowers...well not scrap ones just ones that would never of made to a project cause of color.

Pretty happy with the cover.  Been hoarding a couple of Tim Holtz embellishments that I got in a rak from Geordie.
Love how these torn edges expose the corrogated board adds to the scrappy feel of the album.
I was so glad to use some of this plastic packaging I got from my kid toy boxes.

It was great to use my favourite technique "collage" in this album. A great and effective way to use scraps, and this paper was perfect for this mini.
HMMMMMMMMMMM My dumb pics have decided to stop uploading so that will have to be all for now.  Be sure to check out my vid on this mini :)
