I've also had a busy couple of weeks creating things to sell at some of our local markets. It's a bit daunting spending time and products making things and not knowing what will sell and what wont but I suppose I'll never know if I don't try :)

I'm not a card maker the only way I know how is from looking at some of the awsome crafters on youtube but I must say it gaets a bit addictive. I'm trying to do low end ones and sell the 3 for $5 and the fancier ones but I have no idea how much to charge...it's a bit of a bother!!!

I've also done some mini mixed media canvases. They have turned out great and I loved making them definatly my style and they have got insopirational words on the which I love.

Please let me know of any other good, quick, inexpensive ideas you have to help me out on my lil weekend adventure :)

These are some of the bigger Cards I've made measuring 15cmx 15cm. As you can see I've embellished the insides aswell these were so much fun.  I've made smaller simpler ones aswell that I will sell 3 for $5.

These are a few of the mini canvases that I created so much fun as I love mixed media and this grungy look :)
Kia Ora :)

Yesturday I uploaded my second Design Team video for LSH.  It's a Magnetic Memo Board.  I used an old canvas and painted it black, covered some sheet metal with design paper and adhered it to the canvas. I then covered the train template with patterened paper from the MME Paper stack And also used some paper from the DCWV Tattered time Mat sstack.  When I had done that I Popped it up with some card and attatched it to the board.

I embellished the edges with cut outs from the tim Holtz Paper Stack and other odd embellishments from my stash.  I made the magnets by adhering bits of design paper to card and then hot gluing some magnetic tape to the back:)

This project was so super easy and fairly quick I'm pretty sure you could find  metal sheeting suitable for this at your Hardware store.

This would be a great gift so simple to change the theme to suit any taste.  Lokking forward to creating a shabby chic styled one so I can go crazy on the gorgeous embellishing :)

See you soon with some more crafty creations :)

INTRODUCTION TO OUR CREATIVE JOURNEY SERIES

Another cool thing that I have kicked off this week  was thebeginning of my Creative Journey Series.  Going to be so much fun to get into this and I hope you guys can join in some of the fun and challenge yourself and eachother to really use our products and all the tecniques we have been learning from eachother :)

Sooooo....the guts of it is...is that I have set myself a $50 budget to buy product from a particular collection and with that we are going to create as many projects as we can.....WHY????....because it gonna be fun!!!!!!.....and also to really get some use out of the artsy goodness that we buy maybe try some new things use our tools and techniques and products in different ways not necessarily the way the instructions say to...and for me personally I just wanna see how many projects I can create using a set amount of product5s and incorperating them with stuff we already have in our  stash.

Our first part of the Journey I've chosen to use Bo Bunny Country Garden Collection..I thought it would be perfect to start this journey off with some color and vibrancy and this collection was perfect.
The color pallet was not my preference but really when it comes to scrappy goodness and art supplies it's all gorgeous to me :)

I'm hoping to get at least 5 projects out of the products I got, those will include a mini album, A mixed media canvas inspirewd by a Youtube artist, a mixed media canvas in the style of "ME" lol a couple of cards...maybe a layout, maybe an altered item and then if there are any scraps then a page for my KOS Journal or in my personal Journal....I mean who knows where we will be lead...but it's gonna be fun guys :)

Heres the video of my LSH Angels DT Projects.
Hey there wow it's been a wee while since I've blogged and I've been up to heaps of artsy crafty mischief so I don't know where to begin....so here goes <3

First of all my computer died and left me in a feerrr-eaky state of absolute panic!!!!  It was all a bit of a drama but thankfully that is just a bad memory and I am now blogging this on my superfast supercool new computer.....YAY!!!!!!....:)

I completed my first lot of Design team Projects for LSH...I had so much fun creating using cynthia's templates.  All of which you can purchase by going over to the LSH website. Make sure you are a member so you can be a part of the fun and sharing, get to know some other wonderful crafters and get inspired and inspire eachother...thats what it's all about aye?!!

Here I've created a Tissue box using the rocking horse template.  Constructed the box using the measurements from an actual tissue box.  I used some sturdy cardboard from a box that had a toaster in it.  Adhered it all together with hot glue and then covered it with this perfect design paper from the DCWV BABY BOY 12X12 Paper pack. If you are anything  like me and are addicted to using your glue-gun then this is perfect for you.  It was so fun to embellish using beautiful pearl trim, lace, and some prima flowers.

Using the same Template I also created this 12x12 Layout. Now I'm not the best at doing Layouts and to be honest I don't really like doing them but this was so easy. These templates really inspired me I have so many other ideas for projects using this one template, Mini albums, banners, picture frames I can wait.

This was my favourite project using another one of cynthia's templates.  I created a box with some thick card using the solid part of the template and then cut the gate template peice out of corregated card to create....welll...the gate!!
Using Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime it was a given that this project would take on the exact fairy secret garden look that I was going for.  I did some fussy cutting of some of the gorgeous images, some prima flowers, stickles, I used my rangeer paint daubers to get that rustic look accented it with some gold and really just had fun. I also created a lil note book and bound it with my new Bind-it-all....Yay!!!!!!!

Another amazing thing that happened was the design team angels all got gifted some LINDY'S!!!!!! I was so blown away to recieve the sprays and yes I got a bit emotional hehe it was the first time I had seen the sprays lil lone used them so obviously I couldn't help but give my fairy creation a generous spray.  The notebook I created was easy to I just used some leftover paper from the paper pack and colored up some music note paper with some Lindy's and also some manilla paper and stamped it with some journaling lines. it all came together perfectly. I also really loved how the shape of the frame on the notebook which was from the paper collection perfectly matched the shape of the templates....AWESOME!!!

So thats my first lot of dt projects and what a lot of fun I look forward to seeing more of the projects from the other angels to so be sure to check them out :)
