Red and Black Paper Bag Album

Hey there
Just wanted to share with you my creation for today.  It is just a simple Paper Bag album.  I have used all sorts of papers. Tags, pockets, photo mats you know the drill guys :) I didn't embellish to much as this one is for a non scrapper and  it can all be a lil overwhelming.

Hey there crafters :) this week I wanted to show you a
quick and easy rustic canvas I created using some of the products you can get at Scottie Crafts.

This project was so easy I just gathered all my supplies together and went to work.  I had this sentiment in mind.

The Tim Holtz Burlap Canvas was awesome and I could not wait to work with it.  I put some gesso on and then just played around with the Distress Paints.  I made rolled roses with the Leather Swatch.  I adhered the gorgeous lil' Prima flowers on as well as the Junkyard findings.

To finish I just coloured up some Thickers with the Distress Paints and adhered them onto the canvas.

Thanks guys....See you next week  :)

SHABBY CHIC JUNK JOURNAL

Hey there peeps
Hope all is well and you are creating some amazing stuff out there.  Just wanted to share with you a junk journal that I completed for a friend this morning.  It's fairly basic...gathered all my yummy papers and images, distressed, played, cut, glued, made some envelopes and tags.  Put it altogether by binding it with my bind it all and there you go a scrummy Journal.  Hope my friend likes it :)

You can also see a vid I made of the Journal just click here.

DREAM BIG - TAG

Hi there
For my DT project this week I wanted to share this tag I made.  I started off with a Manila tag from ranger, I clear embossed it using the stamps from Couture Creations Busy Backgrounds Collections.

I then distressed the edges with some Ranger Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.  I also stamped using the Ranger Distressed Paint - Peeled Paint to add colour.

I cut an image from the paper collection Sunrise-Sunset " White Hot . These papers are gorgeous.  I then played around and adhered some embellishments from my stash including some Tim Holtz brads,  sprockets , and Junkyard Findings Bolts and Nuts.

I also added some Prima Flowers and the title Dream Big.  Some zipper trim to finish of and tied some May Arts Brown Net and some more zipper trim to the top.

All Done!!!

Thanks for checking my crafts and I will see you next week with another project :)

CHASING DREAMS

Yay!! I'm so happy to be sharing my first Design Team Project for Scotties Crafts.
This particular colour pallet with all the greens is not one I would usually work with but I am always up for new things and in the end I was pretty pleased having achieved the "girly grunge"look I like.
I used the gorgeous Sunrise sunset - X Radiant Designer Paper and prepped my background with some sprays,  Ranger Distress Paint - Peeled Paint and a stamp from Couture Creations Busy Background Collection.
As soon as I received my DT Kit and saw the Leather Swatch I knew I wanted to make some rolled roses and thought they would look great on my layout.
and now the real fun begins.  I hate to waste anything, you can see I matted one of my pics with the packaging from the Prima Mini Sachet - Winter  flowers.
I also used the Junkyard Findings and Bolts & Nuts and some May Arts Brown Net to embellish this layout.

So that's my Layout guys.  Have Fun creating!!

Girly Girl Mini Album

It's pretty late but I wanted to get this posted so it's all done.  Been pretty busy with the crafting lately and loving it.  Orders for flowers, mini albums and I'm going to be doing my first project for the Scotties Craft Design Team Tomorrow so definitely keep an eye out for that.

I just completed a Girly Girl Mini Album and was so eager to get it finished for the lovely lady that ordered it because she is going to see her 5yr old Granddaughter next week in Ireland and wanted to take her something special.  I love the thought of them filling up the album with special memories of Nana's visit. So here it is guys...another Paper Bag Album, ^ pages including the front and back covers which is pretty much my standard.  I used papers from MME and DCWV and embellished with all that good stuff, flat back pearls, paper and lace flowers. doilies and lace...yum..yum..yum!!! :)

Morena
It's Monday morning just got the kids off to school and before I get into a day of mini albums I thought I would just blog my recent crafty shenanagins.  Spent the weekend doing some family stuff, wee working bee around at the mother-in-laws and in the evenings been having some pretty hefty flower making sessions.

Just wanted to show you some of the newer ones I've been making.  They are a lil bigger than the usual ones I make and just a lil more lush.  These a just some of them as I had already packaged heaps up before I thought "hmmm Tasha you should blog these" DUH!!!!
