Altered Jar - Shabby Chic

Hey there
I have another Design Team Project for Imagine if.....
This is a little jar I altered and shabbied up.

The first thing I did with this jar was paint it with acrylic.  I just rougly brushed it on in 2 colours...marshmellow and manilla.
I then gave it a bit of a sand with some sand paper to give it a distressed look.

The laser cut chip board shoe I used from Imagine if is just so gorgeous and how I got the crackle effect was not with a crackle medium, it was buy giving it a light coat of acrylic (manilla) and then I heat embossed it with some Utee, followed by another coat of acrylic and then I blasted it with my heat gun and it created this crackle effect.

I had so much fun embellishing the rest of the jar with left over crochet doilie scraps.
Paper flowers, pearls, a beautiful little crochet heart my firend Kimi from Unique Scrappiness sent me.
I love the way this little jar came out and look forward to making more;

I have been using some really unique laser cut embellishments and I get them all from Imagine if....  Be sure to come and check the Facebook Page out and see creations from all the talented designers :)

Here is a vid...taking a closer look at this little altered jar.

See you all soon with another fun creation :)

Shabby Shoe :)

 Hey crafters
I'm excited to share with you my first DT project.  This shoe came in 3 laser cut chip pieces that measures approx 19cm x 18cm.  I wanna tell you that I used alot of amazing tecniques but to be honest I actually just got all my crafty goodies together and had fun playing and embellishing,

I must say at first I had no love for this shoe as I had seen my fellow DT friends and they are all so unique and awesome I was a bit daunted but once I got into it, it was just fun fun fun.

I chose a shabby look for my shoe.  Covered it with some designer paper and then embellished the heck out of it with godies from my stash, some chip board butterflies, a felt flower and I just love those little tiny felt butterflies.

So many awesome embellishments and craft supplies to be had at imagine if...FIX designer craft supplies.  I am looking forward to sharing more creations with you.
Take care guys and keep it crafty
Tasha xx
